A Man Of Betrayals


There once was a comfortable man named James Muster, living in his comfortable life. He

loved his wife and his two children Anna and Charles. In almost every moment of his free time he

was hanging out with his best friend Michael. Michael was a trustworthy and very entertaining

man, and he was a joy to be around. One day in James' comfortable life, the authorities paid a

visit to his home in his comfortable neighborhood and told him that they had found considerable

evidence that he had committed credit card fraud and brought James into the station where he was

then given a court date. As innocent as he claimed to be, he was proven guilty in a court of law.

He was sentenced to fifteen years in prison where he was to have few visits from his wife and

friend.

During his term, he made no friends because everyone in the jail was of negative nature

and had committed several crimes. James wasn't comfortable around any of this so he kept his

distance. On several occasions he was mocked and tormented for his unusual behavior around the

other inmates. He was beaten and sexually assaulted and showed absolutely no emotion back.

All he showed was a blank expression as if all hope had been lost for him to be a comfortable man

again. He missed his wife and children, and saw them on a monthly bases. His friend Michael

came as well to see that his friend was O.K. and making it through.

Then one month his wife, kids, and friend never showed. And the month after that... and

the month after that. By the end of his term, or sentence rather, it had been two and a half years

sense he had seen his family. He was worried and hoped that something had gone wrong. Maybe

the judge didn't allow them to come anymore. Maybe he was only in a terrible dream that had yet

to cease.
