ana’s use as a medicine continues, experts have given information pertaining to its positive effects when used properly. Much of this falls in the hands of the government, which supports that marijuana is not a safe medicine, not really thinking upon the fact that doctors have researched the drug for medical purposes. Not all doctors feel that cannabis should be a “legal” prescribed medicine. The Institute of Medicine has ignited the controversy when said “smoking marijuana is a risk, but on the other hand they also recommended that critically ill patients should be allowed to use it under closely monitored settings.” If this drug was even as bad as many say it is then saying its alright for a sick patient to use it to help cure a illness would not be acceptable.
